A Blast From The Past

At SAMCON, VP Dan Sclare got a few back issues of The Sphinx. One of them, the December 1925 issue, contained a mention of an appearance by Harry Houdini in Hartford. Here's a scan of it. Mr. Hubbard mentions “the old Opera House, no longer in existence.” There is an “opera house” in the Broad Brook section of East Windsor, home of the Opera House Players, that claims Houdini once performed there.
