There is a fantastic benefit available to all members of SAM that have access to the Internet.  SAMtalk is an online discussion board that deals with magic and all things related to it.  Moderated by 1st VP Bruce Kalver, this board is a way to share thoughts concerning just about any topic that relates to us magicians, such as “magic history, performance of magic, and club related topics.” If you are not yet a SAMtalker, become one by setting your browser to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SAMtalk/ and click “Join This Group”.  SAMtalk is run by YAHOO Groups, so you will have to create a Yahoo group account for yourself if you’ve never done that before (they’re free!) When you join SAMtalk, you can elect to have “individual emails”—each new posting to the group will be mailed to you as a separate email, or “daily digest”—the entire day’s postings are sent to you in one message.  Join the community and add to our knowledge base! Dues Are Due! It’s time to give your dues money to our treasurer and support our wonderful club.  $20, either given to Walt at the next meeting, or mailed to him at: 54 Cliffwood Rd. South Windsor, CT 06074 Performer List For The November 11 Magic Shows At press time, we had eleven performers for the two fundraising shows to be held at Angelo’s on Main on November 11.  There will be an afternoon “kids/family” show and an evening “not necessarily kids” show. (If I said “adult” show, too many people would think “risqué.”) Each show will be preceded by an interval of walkaround magic, and a buffet dinner. So far, this is the lineup:
